I was born & raised in the Smoketown neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky surrounded by a very large family. When I lost my mother to cancer, my art shifted and I've grown from the experience, though she continues to be a driving force in everything I do. I am proud to say that I come from a family of artists, none of whom had formal training. Art is more than just paint and canvas to me. It is my therapy when I need to vent, cry, rant, scream, or show my gratitude. I appreciate you taking the time to read my words and hope you will enjoy my work. |
